Beall Team Connections: Ann Paonessa & Aaron Amore
Our Q3 2025 Investor Lunch guests were local power couple Ann Paonessa and Aaron Amore. They are long-time residents, local business owners (Amore Law, PLLC), local commercial landlords, and have volunteered and worked consistently over the years to make Charles Town a better place. They have a particular passion for preserving and improving the historic and downtown areas.
Ann is a former Charles Town City Council Member, and currently serves with Jess on the city’s Planning Commission and on the board of the downtown promotional non-profit, Charles Town Now. Aaron currently serves as the president of the Charles Town Tree Board, and frequently joins forces with the city’s Parks & Rec Board to tackle projects.
Ann and Aaron shared stories from their two commercial renovations in Charles Town (Amore Law and their downtown property on West Washington St), specifically noting their experience using historic tax credits. Jess was shocked to find out that the building she frequents was once a funeral home! Aaron and Ann also spoke about their experiences partnering with others in business, and dealing with commercial tenants. They’ve watched Charles Town grow up a lot over the years.
